TimecodeMate3 r6e Beta - Windows and macOS test package
========================================================

Combined 16 October 2026. The Mac installer and grandMA3 plug-in were built
from main commit f2a0528. The Windows DLL was built by GitHub Actions from
commit 0229318 (run 38953283350). No Product source changed between those
commits; the intervening edits were to the website, documentation renderer,
release notes and Windows build workflow. Both REAPER components use the
r6e Beta label and the same grandMA3 plug-in.

This is a test build, not the current public release. Your existing licence
is still required. The ZIP contains:

  windows/reaper_timecodemate3.dll Windows x64 REAPER extension
  mac/TimecodeMate3-r6e-beta-macos-installer.pkg macOS installer
  ma3/TimecodeMate3-ma3/ matching grandMA3 plug-in
CHANGES.txt changes for customers coming from Release 4

Before installing, save a copy of the REAPER project and grandMA3 show.
Projects saved by this beta use a newer format and cannot be opened by
Release 5 or earlier. Keep those backups if you may need to return.

Windows
1. Quit REAPER.
2. Extract the ZIP. Copy windows/reaper_timecodemate3.dll directly into
REAPER's UserPlugins folder. In REAPER, Options > Show REAPER resource
path opens the parent folder; UserPlugins is inside it.
3. Restart REAPER. Open Extensions > TimecodeMate3 > Show UI and check that
   About displays "r6e Beta".

macOS
1. Quit REAPER.
2. Extract the ZIP and run mac/TimecodeMate3-r6e-beta-macos-installer.pkg.
3. If macOS blocks the unsigned package, open System Settings > Privacy &
Security > Open Anyway, then run it again.
4. Restart REAPER. Open Extensions > TimecodeMate3 > Show UI and check that
   About displays "r6e Beta".

grandMA3 (console or onPC)
1. Copy the whole ma3/TimecodeMate3-ma3 folder into that device's plug-in
library or the matching USB plug-in library.
2. Import TimecodeMate3-ma3.xml into the existing TimecodeMate3 Plugin Pool
slot, replacing its prior code. Keep the existing show data.
3. Run the plug-in. System Monitor should report "r6e Beta".

Please report the exact steps if a problem persists. On Mac, the bounded
diagnostic log is available from REAPER's Extensions > TimecodeMate3 menu.
Include your REAPER/macOS/Windows/grandMA3 versions and a short screen
recording when possible. Some Release 6 changes still need customer testing.
